Gaming Machine Stakes and prizes increase at 00.01

We understand that the increase in stakes and prizes for certain gaming machines reported on in previous articles will take effect at 00.01 am on 15^th January 2014.

This is because no comments or objections were received to the proposal from European Member States to the Categories of Gaming Machine (amendment) Regulations 2014.

The regulations have been signed and will take effect at 00.01am.
